Hello everyone, dear readers! Today the topic will be slippery and not very pleasant, but very relevant. I decided to dedicate it to parasites, which are frequent "inhabitants" of our organisms. Imagine there is a stormy life in your blood, intestines, under your skin right now. B-rr! One will shudder at the thought.
But today it is scientifically proven that half of the planet's inhabitants are carriers of worms, of which there are about 200 species and "races". That is, theoretically, you also fall into the risk group. We donate tests, you see, not that often. We live to ourselves, we go to work, to cafes, and to the movies, and we seem to feel good. . .
Please wait. It's fine? And chronic fatigue and a strange wet cough that doesn't go away for months doesn't bother you, diarrhea and constipation and other disruptions in the gastrointestinal tract? Is the same! But this is one of the signs of the presence of worms. Parasites in the human body cause a variety of symptoms. I also tried to summarize them in today's post.
Long, round, flat and others
What human parasites do you know about? Worms? Rather, it is its generalized name. But varieties are one big slippery lump. We are going to disarm him to find out with whom we are going to fight.
- Roundworms that live in the digestive system are the largest group. These include pinworms, side scrapers, whipworms, pinworms, and a few others. Your photos can be viewed on the Internet "in stock". They come to us for the notorious unwashed hands, as well as dirty and unprocessed fruits and vegetables, undercooked meat and fish. If you have a cat or dog at home, the likelihood of worms appearing is much higher.
- The second type is tapeworm: broad tapeworm, echinococcus, porcine tapeworm and bovine tapeworm. These helminths are much larger than the previous ones. Some of the broad tapeworms can be over 25 meters long! These worms can eat with the whole body, absorbing the substances they need inside you with their surface. They do not have a certain territory of residence in the body, since they move freely throughout the body, also crawling towards the brain and bone marrow. You can become infected by eating poorly fried meat or undercooked fish. That is why I never buy these products in spontaneous markets, "hand in hand", because the sellers of these points of sale clearly have not heard of any veterinary checks.
- Subcutaneous parasites (filamentous nematodes, heartworm) live under the human skin. You can catch them in hot countries, for example, in Africa or India, from flies, mosquitoes or bedbugs. They are often visible - on the skin you will see a strange lump which, if pressed, will slide under the finger.
- Trematode worms: fascilopsis, liver flukes and others. Its habitat is the intestines, liver, pancreas. The source is contaminated water without boiling, raw fish, little salty and poorly cooked.
- Tissue worms. They are located and are parasites in various tissues of our body, in muscles, brain, connective tissues. You can get the infection from animals, both wild and domestic: pigs, cats, horses, ducks and chickens.
Parasites in the human body: symptoms
Theoretically, each of the above types can perform their invisible attacks from the inside right now, and you don't even know it. Many live with worms inside them and literally allow them to devour themselves for several years, until an accidental test or physical examination by the doctor uncovers their eggs on tests. These are silent pests that not only feed on you, but also have time to multiply and release toxins.
I immediately wanted to take a trial coupon, right? But first, look for the indirect signs of its presence. Just don't panic right away and don't diagnose yourself. Many of these symptoms overlap with other medical conditions.
So you probably have worms if:
- You are suddenly anemic. Have previously normal hemoglobin counts been significantly reduced? This may indicate that helminths are stealing your iron.
- You often feel bad for no reason and have strange abdominal pain. A detailed ultrasound examination in infected patients reveals many microcracks, ulcers, wounds in the intestinal mucosa and other organs. This can lead to inflammation and pain.
- Now diarrhea, now constipation. Are you eating as usual and has the nature of your bowel movements changed noticeably? Constipation can be caused by giant worms or small worms forming a ball. They, like a cork, close the exit of the feces. Well, diarrhea is caused by microhelminths, which destroy sodium and chlorides, responsible for the normal consistency of stool, diluting them.
- Break the body, bones and joints. The worms can cause inflammation in the periarticular muscles and, as a result, discomfort.
- Acne, eczema, warts, and other skin problems, as well as damaged nails and hair, are caused by toxins released by parasites. Your liver cannot process as many harmful substances that affect your skin and hair.
- Excessive thinness or rapid weight gain. Worms take away a lot of useful substances from us, losing them (we lose weight significantly, but they also eat sugar) and due to their lack, from time to time we eat a snack and get fat.
- Gas release and bloated stomach.
- Grind your teeth. They say that this is one of the most obvious signs, because in a dream our body is relaxed and asleep, and the worms do not sleep, so an unconscious reaction arises - clenching our teeth and gnashing them.
- Poor immunity. Its decrease is due to the fact that the body has already launched all its defenses against parasites, and it simply has no strength left for other viruses that come from outside.
- Drowsiness, lethargy, listlessness and irritability with a normal diet and rest. Worms blatantly rob us of almost all the minerals and nutrients we need: potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium. The lack of them affects the nervous system and well-being.
- Itching. It usually intensifies at night, when the worms collect in the anus to lay eggs. Doctors say that it is night when we can meet the worm "face to face", and it traps him in his dirty affairs.
- Incomprehensible cough without a cold.
Well, have you found 4-5 symptoms? To be honest, neither do I. And this means only one thing: it's time to go to the hospital to see a therapist, infectious disease specialist, immunologist, or parasitologist. After a detailed examination, you will be prescribed the necessary medications.
Parasites in the human body: expulsion
Be prepared for your entire family to be treated. The rest of your home is also likely to become infected, as parasites are spread very quickly through personal hygiene items, household items, and dishes.
Despite the fact that all medicines for worms are sold in pharmacies for free and without a prescription, you do not have to choose them yourself. Some of them only work on a certain type of worm and are completely useless against the rest. Also, these drugs have many contraindications.
Garlic parasite prophylaxis
Treatment with home remedies, which our grandmothers used, when there were no pills or pharmacies, is also very widespread.
Doctors now recommend combining such home treatment with prescriptions, so we use all the herbs described below for prevention only.
- Anise infusion is good to add to a hot bath. After sitting in it for about half an hour, it will get rid of a small handful of worms. They just can't stand the pungent smell of this herb that penetrates through their skin, but they will have to put up with it for a bit.
- Common sorrel kills parasites with its acid. So feel free to chew on the washed leaves in spring and summer.
- Ordinary raw pumpkin seeds make great helminths.
- Drink infused oak bark (200 ml - 2 tablespoons).
- Tansy also has a good antiparasitic effect. To prepare the broth, pour a tablespoon of its flowers with a glass of boiling water and insist in a closed thermos for 4 hours. Take a healing mixture, previously filtered, 1 tablespoon. spoon 4 times a day before meals.
- Eat more garlic, onion, and horseradish. For worms, their pungent death smells are similar, and at the same time, you will correct your broken immunity.
Don't think that one fine day all parasites will leave your body in a friendly formation of their own free will. They will live inside and feed on you for a long time, so it is best to start expelling them right now, otherwise in a couple of years you will have gray hair, earthy skin, brittle hair, digestive problems and a deficiency of all. useful minerals. They will eat you alive, so don't let them do it!
